Continuing Education Policy

 

1.0 Program Fees

 

  • All program fees must be paid in full at the time of registration unless otherwise specified.

  • Fees cover course materials, instruction, and a certificate of completion (if applicable).

  • Payment methods accepted include credit/debit cards and other approved online payment options.

2.0 Refund Policy

 

  • Full Refund: Participants who cancel at least 7 days before the course start date are eligible for a full refund, minus any non-refundable processing fees.

  • Partial Refund: Cancellations made between 6 and 2 days before the course start date are eligible for a 50% refund.

  • No Refund: No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 48 hours before the course begins or for non-attendance.

3.0 Participant Cancellations & Transfers

 

  • If a participant is unable to attend, they may request a one-time transfer to a future session of the same course at no additional charge, provided the request is made at least 48 hours in advance.

  • If a participant experiences an emergency and cannot attend, they may submit a written request for a refund or credit for future courses. Requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

4.0 Course Cancellations by Provider

 

  • In the event of course cancellation by the provider due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., instructor illness, low enrollment, technical issues), participants will have the option to:

    1. Receive a full refund, or

    2. Transfer enrollment to a rescheduled or alternative course.

5.0 Policy on Review and Resolution of Program Participation Complaints and Disputes

 

Purpose

This policy outlines the procedures for reviewing and resolving complaints or disputes related to provider Continuing Education (CE) programs. Our goal is to ensure that all participants have a fair and transparent process to address concerns regarding course content, instructor conduct, accessibility, certification, or any other issues related to their CE experience.

Filing a Complaint

·        Participants must submit complaints in writing via Email or call 800-273-6277 ext 701 within 14 days of the program’s completion.

·        Complaints should include:

o   Participant’s full name and contact information

o   Course title, date, and instructor’s name

o   A detailed description of the concern or dispute

o   Any supporting documentation (if applicable)

·        Complaints should be submitted to The Psyched Group LLC 165 E Grove Street B, Middleboro, MA 02346.

Complaint Review Process

1.      Acknowledgment – The provider will acknowledge receipt of the complaint within 3 business days.

2.      Review & Investigation – A designated representative will review the complaint, consult relevant parties, and evaluate supporting documentation.

3.      Response & Resolution – A written response outlining findings and any applicable resolutions will be provided to the participant within 14 business days.

Resolution Options

Based on the nature of the complaint, possible resolutions may include:

·        Course content clarification or instructional adjustments

·        Issuance of missing CE certificates (if eligibility requirements were met)

·        Refunds or course transfers (if justified)

·        Mediation between the participant and instructor, if appropriate

Appeals Process

·        If a participant is dissatisfied with the resolution, they may submit a formal appeal within 7 days of receiving the response.

·        The appeal will be reviewed by a senior administrator or an independent review panel, with a final decision issued within 10 business days.
